(3/1/09) The January 2009 Activity Leaflet is also available to download Please click on 'The Christian's God in 2009' in left hand menu to download the slides from the January series of talks Sunday Services1st and 3rd Sundays Worship and Communion 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The normal format of service is a time of praise and worship followed by about 30 minutes of bible teaching - which would then be followed by a time of communion. 2nd and 4th Sundays Worship 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. The normal format of service is a time of praise and worship followed by about 30 minutes of bible teaching, and then finish with prayer and praise. If the 4th Sunday is the last Sunday of the month, then it is a family service, often led by Housegroups, with a slightly different format.
Communion 11:45 until 12:15 p.m. 5th Sundays Family Worship 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. For those months when there is a 5th Sunday, this will be a family service. Normally, there will not be a communion on this Sunday. Sundays for Young People We welcome all children to our services: there are toys available for 0-4 year olds (creche), and activities for 5-13 year olds (Sunspot). Currently our 14+ age group remain in the service on Sunday mornings, and have their own events on Sunday and Thursday evenings. Living Room Praise (7pm) is on the first Sunday of each month. On the second Sunday of each month the group attend the 'Vision' youth service at St John's Church, Woodbridge (7pm - 9.30pm). Transport is available to this. Children and young people join the rest of the Church family at the Fellowship Tea (5pm) and Living Room Social on the third Sunday, and the Youth Bible Study is on the fourth Sunday evening of each month. Additional events are often arranged informally. On Thursday evenings there is a 'chill out/drop in' session at the MCF Hall (for 14+).
